Peter Fisher (physician)

Peter Antony Goodwin Fisher, FRCP (b. 1950), is a prominent figure in the international homeopathic medical community.. He currently serves as Clinical Director and Director of Research at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine. He is editor-in-chief of Homeopathy. He is Clinical Lead of the National Institutes for Health and Clinical Excellence of the UK National Health Service for Evidence in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and is a member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional and Complementary Medicine.


Fisher's interest in homeopathy began during a trip to China while a medical student at Cambridge University. He later trained as a junior doctor on call at The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital.

Personal

Born 2 September 1950, he is the son of Antony Martin Fisher and Eve Fisher. He married Nina Oxenham in 1997; they have two daughters.
