The '''Sealand national football team''' is the team that represents the [[Principality of Sealand]]. It is not a member of FIFA or UEFA, but is associated with the [[Nouvelle Fédération-Board]], a football sanctioning body for non-recognised states and states not members of [[FIFA]]. On May 5, 2012, Sealand's football team took to the field against the [[Chagos Islands national football team|Chagos Islands]] at Weycourt in [[Godalming]], [[Surrey]]. The Chagos Islands won, 3-1. Sealand's kit has the same colors as the Flag of Sealand. It consists of a red jersey with a white horizontal stripe across the front and another one down each sleeve. The shorts are black, and the socks are white.<ref name=sabotagetimes></ref>

The Sealand national football team is the team that represents the Principality of Sealand. In 2004 they played their first game against Åland Islands national football team drawing 2–2.[2] All players on the Sealand team were members of Vestbjerg Vintage Idrætsforening. In 2006, they suffered a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Northern Cyprus[3]
