== Loss of seat ==

There is no doubt that Duynhoven lost his seat in 2003 as a result of applying for Dutch citizenship. The Solicitor Generals opinion is clear. It is only Labor Party partisans who suggest otherwise. I have tried to tidy up the article - which was clearly written by Labour Party supporters.[[Special:Contributions/203.80.61.102|203.80.61.102]] ([[User talk:203.80.61.102|talk]]) 04:27, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

It was *not* an Electoral "Regulation"(which would come from the Executive) but rather was a breach of S55(1) of the Electoral Act 1993, a statute (from the legislature).
