I believe that the newspaper image is not a real scan of the paper, since in 1941 the Hilo Tribune Herald was being published under the name of Hawaii Herald. It was the Hawaii Herald from 1923 - 1964. How can an article from that time have the name of the newspaper wrong on its front page?
I suggest that the image be removed until its authenticity can be verified. I'm placing a call to the Hilo Tribune Herald for confirmation.
