Fair use rationale for Image:John Moran.jpg

Image:John Moran.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

john moran is an amazing artist in the likes of david byrne, charlie kaufman, david lynch, etc.. his work should be recognized. should i go so far as to say society should be so aware as to accept the term moranesque.

i was privy to trilogy of cyclic existence and have since then been hooked. john, you are so hard to find, i need more exposure!

praises, PRAISES!

Conflict of Interest

This page, judging by the unsourced content, experience with the subject who is described, and previous edits, is a prime subject to be tagged COI. As i see it, another editor is actively reversing proper requests for citation. As such, in an appropriate time frame from now, if not properly sourced, this article will be marked COI. This space is reserved for discussion of potential COI. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SgThomas (talkcontribs) 20:56, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User Sg Thomas is aengaging in harassment, while hiding the behavior behind guidelines which on the surface appear legitimate. We have been informed that a person, last name 'Thomas', made public threats on an unrelated youtube channel yesterday, to the subject of the article,'unless you want your wiki page marked with a million citations tomorrow...', if the subject did not retract a statement in which the subject expressed dislike for President Trump. There were no problems with citations before today, and Sg Thomas is clearly the person who threatened the harassment in this light. The article is well researched, by numerous users over a period of years, and has been used frequently by journalists and graduate students. It is unfortunate that Sg Thomas would see Wikipedia as a place to harass others for their political views unrelated to the subject of articles, and the behavior should not be tolerated by moderators.

Thank you.
