Sexuality

Nell Carter is listed as bisexual; could someone write a blurb about when she came out?--Bjeversole 07:56, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article orginally stated that she was sort of "outed" after her death and that many people didn't know she was living with a female lover (now referred to in the article as her "partner"); apparently someone felt that information needed to be removed...I will put it back in. Pacian 08:05, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's possible that someone removed it because they couldn't verify the information. I understand that Kaser was given custody of Carter's adopted sons, but other than that I haven't found any information about her "coming out". In any case, we don't need to speculate in the article. --Dystopos 14:32, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Main page

Could somebody flesh this out? This article is listed on the Main Page and it isn't even a 500 byte stub. Normally I would remove such an entry from the Main Page per the guidelines in Wikipedia:Selected Articles on the Main Page but for some reason I didn't. --mav

I changed my mind and replaced Nell Carter with another recent death article that is far better developed. --mav

Picture quality

This is the best picture you can come up with? There are clearer pictures of Abraham Lincoln!! (--unsigned comment left 09:56, 30 November 2005 by User:194.29.36.107)

Brain Tumor?

  • There is a link from 'notable brain tumor patients' but no mention of cancer in the article. Either cite it or remove the link. (--unsigned comment left 20:57, 29 January 2006 by User:68.229.165.237)
    • I removed the reference. I did find one site that claimed she was among a number of celebrities that had suffered from brain tumors, but the site didn't cite a source. --Dystopos 06:13, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Intelligence

  • I'm a little surprised that the article didn't refer to Nell's intelligence. She was brilliant and you couldn't help but notice it the minute she began to speak. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trent535 (talkcontribs)
    • From what I understand too, she was very lovable.
