Australia

Antipodeans needs to be created, or a redirecr to AUSTRALASIANS. I can't do it; It won't let me. Some racism was here too. Needs to be reviewed and cleaned. 05:44, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

The racist spam and redirect problems appear to have been solved. I've rearranged and trimmed various bits of text to make the article cleaner, and I've taken off the request for cleanup because I think it's workable again now (although it could certainly be expanded). A reference for the history would still be useful. Dave A 21:42, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I also think there is some potentially unnecessary overlap with the White City article - but what belongs where depends on whether you think the shopping complex is a Shepherd's Bush thing or a White City thing. Dave A 21:42, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Matt: Correct me if I'm wrong but the Shepherds Bush Empire (Music Venue) wasn't the 'Home' of Wogan. The Shepherd's Bush Theatre (The place next door) was home to that and a lot of other Programmes from the BBC. This is now a bingo hall after the shutting down Wogan for the ill-fated Soap Opera "Eldorado".

Also very little mention of the Shepherd Bush market. Even though it has been in serious decline in recent years its contribution to life in "The Bush" is immense. Matt

The reason that many of the roads around White City have connections with South Africa is to commemmorate the 1934 Commonwealth Games.

"Muse have also recently played a free show there in June." <--- Someone should add the year this happened and perhaps take out the recently. I assume it was 2006 but I don't know for certain so I will leave it for someone who knows.

Could a listing of local schools be helpful?

It should be from ' to ’, and not the other way like it is now. Actually, I have no idea except it normally is ' to ’ and apostrophe article has this: apostrophe ( ’ although often rendered as ' ). 85.217.42.90 (talk) 01:50, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone else understand this? PRL42 (talk) 16:27, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You can see them bigger in apostrophe article, the upper one is the curved, and below that is the "straight" one (labeled "Typewriter apostrophe "). I thought/remembered the curved one was more frequent, but after some searching I could not find even one with that in the title. 85.217.42.90 (talk) 06:54, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
