Single campus?

I added the fact that Sinclair has currently opened the satellite location located in Englewood, however, would be then be necessary to remove the fact that Sinclair is only a single campus? Would the satellite location be considered a second campus? -RiSK

I don't know if it's a "campus" or just a "satellite location". I don't know what the criteria is for calling a location a campus. But the intro has been adjusted a bit now to avoid saying that it's a single campus. This interferes with the claim about it being "one of the largest" community college campuses, though. We need verification of that. —mjb 22:19, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ideas for improvement

Is any information available about the history of the main campus? Its architecture has always been interesting to me. Was the campus ever written about in the Dayton Daily News? (And wasn't there another Dayton newspaper way back when?) Surely the college's initial construction got some press. I'm guessing the recent renovations to the library got a mention as well. Were there any notable additions to the campus over the years? Get some references and add this info to the article!

Other details that might be of interest:

  • How was the college founded?
  • Any books written about Sinclair or its founders?
  • Any other noteworthy Sinclair events covered in the press?
  • Negative news or criticisms covered in the press?
  • Sources and percentages or amounts of public & private funding, past and present
  • Any organized sports? intramural?
  • Any notable former students?
  • When did it get its various accreditations?
  • Any sister colleges?
  • What percentage of students graduate with degrees or certificates?
  • What percentage of students transfer to 4-year colleges/universities?
  • What percentage of students are non-degree-seeking (continuing ed.)?
  • How long does the average student attend Sinclair?

Just a few things off the top of my head…—mjb (talk) 02:31, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why the reference to the "List of largest United States universities by enrollment"?

Sinclair Community College is not on that list. Omc (talk) 04:11, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
