==Editathons==
I am still trying to host events in Lowell to help develop and improve Wikipedia. If you are an editor in the Lowell/Merrimack Valley area and want to help, leave me a message on my talk page. I work with the librarians at Pollard Memorial Library. I also work with class at UMass Lowell when they do Wikipedia related assignments.

== UMass Lowell and Women in Red ==
I am one of the coordinators for the UMass Lowell's Women in Red project. We're trying to empower faculty, staff, and students to get more engaged in editing Wikipedia and adding biographies of academic women.

* Fall 2019 We ran a WikiScholars program with the WikiEd Foundation and 10 faculty members.
* Spring 2019 We're supporting those faculty as they added Wikipedia assignments to their classes.
* Spring 2019 We're running two edit-a-thons as part of Lowell's Women's week celebration - in partnership with Pollard Memorial Library.
* Spring 2019 We started working on hosting a visiting scholar to help us jump start Wikidata content about regional and campus women.

I'm Sara Marks, a librarian and author. I write Rom Com, Fantasy, and Horror books. My new goal in life is to be notable enough to have my own Wikipedia entry that I am not allowed to edit. My editing interests include editing entries about Lowell, MA and creating biographies about women.

Research

Thank you to all who helped me with my thesis research on the Paul Revere social drama. It has really increased my interest and understanding in what is going on here. I have completed my work and finished my defense. If you would like to see the final version, please let me know. I have been attending conferences presenting my findings so feel free to come talk to me if you see me. I would love to meet more of you face to face.

Conferences

Outreach to librarians is something I think is critical to the future of Wikipedia. To help, I present at conferences about ways librarians can participate and get others to participate in Wikipedia. This often includes running editathon models for librarians so you will see some of the same events on this list as well.

I have successfully complete the Wikimedia grant process. In November 2014 Negawon and I wrote a grant for support when we ran a series for 4 editathons in Lowell, MA. Here are the documents from Wikimedia. Feel free to use these to guide you through the process.
