Discretionary sanctions reminder[edit]

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the intersection of race/ethnicity and human abilities and behaviour, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.

I see the article you recently visited in talk page comments is subject to discretionary sanctions, so I thought I should draw your attention to those. By the way, I'm puzzled by the very first edit in your contribution history,[1] which looks to me like a deletion of sourced content and an inline reference, an unusual first edit. Do you have the cited book at hand? See you on the wiki. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 14:56, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember exactly but I would have checked it and only deleted if the source didn't support the text. Peasant in Suit (talk) 08:39, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
