Hello Alextejthompson, in this edit you request a response, and I opt to leave it here. Yes, most emphatically the article could easily survive the remotion of the blue-linked names to which objections are raised. That said, the sources, such as NBC News, which mention the names, also tell you, and our article tells you, «they have not been linked to any criminal actions». WP:NOTCENSORED applies, it seems to me: much as the presence of names might be distasteful, no-one is accusing them of anything. But if the choice is between blanking of the article, or censure, I say censure is better.

My name is Nathan, I'm a current affairs reporter for the radio station triple j, part of the ABC (Australian Broadcast Corporation) based in Sydney, Australia.

I'm currently working on a story about Wikipedia, looking into how mods are leaving the platform because of a shift in toxicity. We were looking to have a chat with a Wikipedia editor!
