Welcome

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Respect intellectual property rights - do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
  • Maintain a neutral point of view when editing articles - this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account being blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Standard sanctions notification

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to, (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you add defamatory content to Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Acroterion (talk) 11:56, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Point out the defamatory content; until then [[offensive comment redacted] Choice777 (talk)

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction

The following sanction now applies to you:

Standard Gamergate topic ban for six months. This topic ban means you are "prohibited from making any edit about, and from editing any page relating to, (a) Gamergate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed" for the duration of the ban

You have been sanctioned for combative, disruptive, and insulting behavior

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/GamerGate#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Gamaliel (talk) 22:22, 25 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are blocked for violating your topic ban at Talk:Anita Sarkeesian, and for continuing your combative, disruptive and insulting behavior. Repeated violations will result in additional sanctions and longer block terms. Acroterion (talk) 02:21, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:BilCat. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. MPS1992 (talk) 23:36, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Warp drive shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Man get real. I'm going to get your little star trek fanboy club disbanded and the whole article on warp drive will be made impartial. Right now it's a mockery..it stinks of star trek. You and your little buddies that removed my edit and then removed all mentions of other titles(added by others) on the warp drive article aren't going to cover up your actions.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Warp drive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Just because you don't agree with an edit doesn't automatically make it vandalism. Your account has been registered since at least 2008, so you should know this. Chaheel Riens (talk) 08:50, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It all started with BilCat, mps1992 and the one just advice, dual freq, they removed my simple edit which was to add"Stargate sg1" to the article right next to other titles. They then removed all the other titles after i reverted it. They seem to think they've got ownership and judging right on the whole article if they go around claiming this or that edit isn't good WHILE the whole article stinks of star trek. Right now the article is one big star trek fan boy page. It's impartial considering there are many other great SFs which use warp drive abundantly. If we can't mention any SFs, then star trek must also be removed.
