Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:KnowledgeContributor118218 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please do not flag the page for deletion. a. I am new to Wikipedia. b. I am being sent a box of archival materials of the deceased Kevin Sanders, from his widow. He was the first television journalist voice on CNN. She is hoping I will learn to use Wikipedia and create his bio both. KnowledgeContributor118218 (talk) 14:08, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know anyone who may get the format and research done correctly? I was trying to help his widow, I am not an expert. KnowledgeContributor118218 (talk) 14:48, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I found this talk page entirely randomly, and I know this post is a few months old at this point, but I think a good way you could accomplish what (I infer) you're trying to do is to publish it on a site independent of Wikipedia.
While the person you're discussing may be somewhat notable, if you don't have outside sources actually discussing him (i.e. links you can find on the web saying "[X]'s contribution to whatever", "Who is [X]?" "How [X] has impacted [Y] - a meta-cross-analysis", etc.) then it doesn't count as notability. Notably, any knowledge you yourself contribute is (I believe) classified as original research and thus unfit for direct publication on Wikipedia (I'm a pretty new editor, but this is my understanding).
If you wanted to put whatever information you have out there, I'd suggest a personal-owned website (and/or perhaps other wikis/information aggregation sites) to host your info. This lets you do 2 things: 1, you get to get the info out there as in-depth as you'd like (since you're not constrained by the Wikipedia encyclopedia format), and 2, it makes a stronger case for an article to eventually be made (although I'm not sure if you would be able to make it, given conflict of interest and all).
Hope this helps. I'm very new to editing and all that so do take this with a grain of salt. Perzikbloesem (talk) 01:44, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
