Welcome to Wikipedia. I see you have taken an interest in the presentation of individuals' nations, particularly footballers. You may be interested to know that from an encyclopaedic and constructive angle, a greater number of editors and readers appreciate historical accuracy, which is why these now defunct countries (eg. Yugoslavia, USSR etc.) are mentioned in some form. To date, all of your edits have been reverted; although I personally ammended most, there were a few which were reverted by other editors before I discovered them. By all means be constructive, and if you are familiar with information regarding these Croatian footballers which is lacking, be bold and edit freely. But for the meantime, please observe the practice of historical accuracy and abstain from removing old national names. Alter them if you will by ammending the order or the emphasis; present them in such a way that you are happy, but please do not delete the old national names. If you encounter problems of any kind, I will be pleased to help you. Best wishes. Evlekis (talk) 22:33, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Thomasz Wylenzek. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to [[::Category:Italian-Slovenians‎]], without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Moving pages while CFD is ongoing is inapproriate

As long as there's an ongoing discussion moving article into the proposed new category is not appropriate. Also, signing category pages the way you have[1][2][3][4][5] is also not something that should be done. Do you think you could clean up these edits? __meco (talk) 13:00, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Ziggy Rozalski

A tag has been placed on Ziggy Rozalski requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Theseeker4 (talk) 16:41, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Slovenians of Bosnian descent, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Slovenians of Bosnian descent is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Slovenians of Bosnian descent, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 13:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have undone your edit to Damien Plessis stating that he's a Reunion footballer, as there is no sourced mention of that in the article. If you have a source, please provide it, and add some prose to the article rather than just adding another category. Thanks.

Hi, sorry, but i've undone it again. Wikipedia isn't a reliable source, especially when the claim, in this case on fr.wikipedia is unsourced. Can you find a source on a club website or interview (n French is fine) that says where his ancestry is. --GedUK  10:22, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
