Lights is active on many social networking sites. jpiderim She has accounts with Facebook #REDIRECT [[http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/lights]], Twitter #REDIRECT [[http://twitter.com/LIGHTS]], Myspace #REDIRECT [[http://www.myspace.com/lights]] , YouTube #REDIRECT [[http://www.youtube.com/lights]]and has her own website where she is also socially active; iamlights.com. Lights has the least personal activity on her Facebook page as "Jeremy Thebug" is the one doing all the posts on her behalf. Posts and updates are made on a weekly basis, usually every two to three days. Posts consist of where she is, photos of her recording in the studio, videos of her touring as well as blog posts that link back to her website. Also posted on her Facebook account is fan art that was created for Lights by her fans and promotional Lights clothing. She has 449,749 fans that follow her on Facebook. Lights also has her own website iamlights.com where you can also find her own artwork and artwork done by her fans. Lights posts weekly blogs on her website which include photos taken by her at performances or in every day life. Her website includes an area for `fan blog` where fans can post questions for Lights and she can respond to them. Lights also posts many video blogs on her website. Lights Twitter account is the most active compared to the other media outlets she uses. She is constantly updating her status on twitter and responding to fans comments on her feed. These posts are by Lights herself and not "Jeremy Thebug" which gives her fans the opportunity to communicate with her directly. Lights has 177, 876 followers and 5,393 tweets, of course these number are increasing every day. Lights is also active on MySpace which is a lot like her main website which also contains the same video blogs, apparel store, biography and fan comments and questions. Lights has 192544 `friends` on her MySpace page. She is also highly active on YouTube which is also very similar to her website and MySpace page. Lights has 105,781 subscribers and has uploaded 106 video blogs which includes her music videos and live performances. She joined YouTube on February 2, 2006. Lights also has live sessions on ustream.tv #REDIRECT [[http://www.ustream.tv]] (has done this three times) where she performs live for her viewers and follows along in chat answering questions in real time. |
