(A) Senile Animal is the sixteenth album by Melvins, released on October 10, 2006. It is their first studio album under the name Melvins since 2002's Hostile Ambient Takeover. The two remaining members of Melvins joined forces with Big Business for this album.

A music video for "The Talking Horse" was made and shown in 2007.

The song "A History of Bad Men" appears in the film I Know Who Killed Me, starring Lindsay Lohan.
