125 Greenwich Street (also known under the name of 22 Thames Street) is a residential supertall skyscraper being built in the Financial District, Manhattan, New York City, designed by architect Rafael Viñoly.

Overview

The residential tower on Greenwich Street will be located in the Financial District neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. In September 2014, it was announced that the tower would stand 1,356 feet (413 m), with 77 floors, and a total of 128 residential units.[2]

As of 2016, these figures were revised to 899 feet (274 m), with 71 floors and 364 units, according to The Skyscraper Center,[1] although other sources quote between 841 and "over 1,000" feet, with 88 floors and 275 units, though "final building height and actual floor count are not yet available".[3] The foundation of the building was completed in June 2016.[4]

The skyscraper is located two blocks south of One World Trade Center. 125 Greenwich Street is directly across Greenwich from the site of the Deutsche Bank Building, which was demolished in 2011. Five World Trade Center will take its place.
