Overview

The Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol didn't organise any nacional championship in 1926. It was the Consejo Provisorio the responsible to put up a competition for the Uruguayan clubs that year. The dispute was contested by 10 teams and Peñarol won it. AUF doesn't consider the tournament as official.
