Juventus F.C. found its mojo once more, finishing in a much improved 4th place in Serie A. Portuguese playmaker Rui Barros had a successful first season, scoring 12 league goals. Coach Dino Zoff had his first season in charge, with fourth place being enough to keep him in charge.
