2013 PGA Tour

The 2013 PGA Tour was the 98th season of the U.S.-based golf tour, and the 46th since separating from the PGA of America. The season began on January 4, 2013.

The season was the last to use the January–September format, used since 2007. The following season the tour will return to the previous practice of holding official (FedEx Cup) events in the fall months. However unlike the previous method, the 2013 editions of the fall events will not count toward the 2013 season, instead leading the schedule of the following season.

Schedule

The following table lists the main season events for 2013.[1] "Date" is the ending date of each event. The numbers in parentheses after the winners' names are the number of wins they had on tour up to and including that event. For an explanation of the "Status" column, see PGA Tour event categories. OWGR is the number of Official World Golf Ranking points awarded for that tournament.[a]

The 2013 schedule includes 40 tournaments, and ran from January 4 to October 6.

  1. ^ Each tournament is allocated a certain number of Official World Golf Ranking points for its champion, and points for lower finishes are based on a sliding scale. The major championships and the Players Championship have fixed allocations, but the points of the other tournaments depend on the strength of the field so they are not available in advance.
