The 2021 Pinstripe Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 29, 2021, with kickoff scheduled for 2:15 p.m. EST on ESPN.[2] It will be the 11th edition of the Pinstripe Bowl (after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic), and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Sponsored by the New Era Cap Company, the game will be officially known as the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

Teams

Consistent with conference tie-ins, the game will be played between teams from the Big Ten Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

This will be the 32nd meeting between Maryland and Virginia Tech; the Terrapins lead the all-time series, 16-15. From 2004-2013, the Terrapins and the Hokies played together in the ACC.[3]
