The 2021 Qatar Total Open is an upcoming professional women's tennis tournament set to be played in Doha, Qatar between the 1st and the 6th of March 2021.[1] The tournament is played annually on hard courts at the International Tennis and Squash Complex, and it is a WTA 500 event on the 2021 WTA Tour.[2][3] Typically played in February[4] one to two weeks following the Australian Open, the tournament will be played in March this year[5] in order to adjust for the delayed start of the Australian Open, which will begin three weeks later than usual as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.[6]
