The 2022 Peach Bowl is a college football bowl game that is scheduled to be played on December 31, 2022, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia . The 55th annual Peach Bowl and one of the two College Football Playoff semifinals, the game will feature two of the four teams selected by the College Football Playoff Selection Committee, with the winner to play against the winner of the Fiesta Bowl in the National Championship . The game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN .[1] It will be one of the 2022–23 bowl games concluding the 2022 FBS football season . Sponsored by restaurant chain Chick-fil-A , the game will be officially known as the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl .

Teams
The game will feature SEC champion Georgia and Big Ten one-loss at-large team Ohio State. They had previously only met once in history in the 1993 Citrus Bowl , where Georgia beat Ohio State by a score of 21–14.
