Mayko Nguyen is a Canadian actress. She has appeared in ReGenesis, Rookie Blue, Killjoys, and Hudson & Rex.
Early life[edit]
Nguyen grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She got her schooling at Eric Hamber Secondary School. Nuguyen developed her acting skills while attending the University of British Columbia.[1]
Career[edit]
Nguyen has had lead and recurring roles on a variety of television series, including Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures,[2] Cracked[3] and Slasher.[4] Nguyen's most notable television roles are Mayko Tran on ReGenesis,[5] Sue Tran on Rookie Blue[6] and Delle Seyah Kendry on Killjoys.[7]
Nguyen's film work includes Going the Distance,[8] The Last New Year[9] and Below Her Mouth.[10]
Nguyen is also a stage actress, and performed in The Unending during the 2016 Toronto Fringe Festival,[11] and Salt-Water Moon in the spring of 2016.[12] Starting 2019, she also stars in the Citytv show Hudson & Rex, a serial police drama where a police detective has a German Shepherd as a partner. Her character is the coroner and forensics specialist and occasionally goes out on cases.
