Judo at the 2020 Summer Paralympics at Tokyo, Japan will take place at the Nippon Budokan. There will be expected to be 138 qualified slots (80 male, 58 female) in 13 events - 7 male events, 6 female events.[1]
Qualification
The qualification period begins from 1 September 2018 to 31 May 2021. Qualification is solely based on world rankings by IBSA as of 31 May 2021.
An NPC can allocate a maximum of seven males and six female slots in the thirteen medal events featured (maximum of one slot per event), the qualification slot is allocated to the individual athlete, not the NPC.
