Robert Charles Evans, (September 2, 1947) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church serving as auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Providence (2009–present).
Biography
Education and ordination
Robert C. Evans was assigned for priestly formation at the Pontifical North American College, Rome, and completed his formation in 1973.[1] He was ordained on July 2, 1973.
Auxiliary Bishop of Providence
Monsignor Evans was appointed Titular Bishop of Aquae Regiae and Auxiliary to the Bishop of the Diocese of Providence on October 15, 2009 by Benedict XVI.[2] He was consecrated a bishop on December 15, 2009.[3]
