Madius (Ancient Greek: Μάδιος), Madyes, or Madya was the Scythian king after his father Bartatua. He "invaded and subjugated Media (c. 628)", but the "Medes soon rebelled, however; their king Cyaxares massacred the Scythian leaders, and the remainder of the Scythians turned back via the Caucasus to southern Russia."[1] according Strabo it was he who led the raids Scythians against Ancient Egypt
