Bettina Plank (born 24 February 1992)[1] is an Austrian karateka. In 2019, she won the gold medal in the women's kumite 50 kg event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus.[2][3] In 2015, she won the silver medal in that event at the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.[4] In the final, she lost against Serap Özçelik of Turkey. She also won medals at the European Karate Championships on several occasions.
Career
In 2015, she won the gold medal in the women's 50 kg kumite event at the 2015 European Karate Championships held in Istanbul, Turkey.[5]
In 2017, she competed in the women's kumite 50 kg event at the 2017 World Games held in Wrocław, Poland without winning a medal.[6] She won one match and lost two matches in the elimination round and she did not advance to compete in the semi-finals.[6]
