The ORA Haomao is a subcompact car produced by Great Wall Motors under its electric vehicle brand, ORA since 24 November 2020.[1]

History

ORA Haomao rear

Another element of the Chinese electric car brand Ora's offensive was the presentation in July 2020[2] of the Haomao sub-compact hatchback in a retro aesthetic. The car gained characteristic, round proportions, with clearly defined wheel arches and widely spaced headlights. The rear part of the body got low, narrow reflectors on the edge of the bumper.[3]

Sale

The Haomao was constructed for the Mainland Chinese market in mind, without any reference to other countries. The sale of the vehicle began on 25 September 2020.[3]

Technical data

The Haomao electric system develops a total power of 143 hp, maximum torque of 210 Nm and a range on a single charge of up to 501 kilometers.[3]
