Carnegie Mellon University Africa
Carnegie Mellon University Africa is a campus of the Carnegie Mellon University located in Kigali, Rwanda.[1]

History
CMU was offered a funding of $95 million by the Government of Rwanda for the university.[2] The university was inaugurated in 2011 by President of Rwanda Paul Kagame. The inauguration was also attended by Farnam Jahanian, the president of CMU.[3][4]
Academics
The university offers master's degrees in Information Technology and Electrical and Computer Engineering.[2]
Campus
The 6000 sq. metre campus is located in Kigali Innovation City.
