Ellis Simms (born 5 January 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays for Blackpool, on loan from Everton, as a striker.
Career
Born in Oldham,[1] after playing for Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City, Simms signed for Everton at the age of 16, turning professional in 2019.[2] He moved on loan to Blackpool in January 2021.[3] He made his debut for Blackpool in the FA Cup as a substitute against Brighton & Hove Albion on 23 January 2021.[4] In his second appearance and his league debut, again as a substitute, he scored his first professional goals when he scored twice in a 5-0 win over Wigan Athletic on 27 January 2021.[5]
