Elena Vallortigara (born 21 September 1991) is an Italian female high jumper. In 2018, establishing her Personal Best with 1.95 m, at 6 May 2018 had reached the 1st place in the seasonal world lists anf finished the season at 2nd with a new PB of 2.02 m.[1]

Biography

Elena Vallortigara during her career has won two bronze medals at the youth world level and one national championship.[2]

Her fantastic progression in 2018

Holder of a good personal best of 1.91 m established in 2010 at the age of 19, in 2018 she has improved up to 2.02 m (2nd best season world performance, behind 2.04 m of the Russian Mariya Lasitskene) and disputing, at 22 July 2018, 7 competitions with a result of at least 1.94 m (or 7 times in the top 25 world performances of the year).[3]
