Blood Has Been Shed was an American metalcore group from Connecticut, formed in 1997.[1] They are popularly known for having two members of Killswitch Engage, current drummer Justin Foley and former vocalist Howard Jones, though both groups have quite different styles. They have released three albums to date: I Dwell on Thoughts of You in 1999, Novella of Uriel in 2001, and Spirals in 2003. They split up in 2004 when Jones and Foley joined Killswitch Engage.
