Shebu Town (simplified Chinese: 射埠镇; traditional Chinese: 射埠鎮; pinyin: Shèbù Zhèn) is an urban town in Xiangtan County, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China.[1] As of the 2000 census[update] it had a population of 63,169 and an area of 170.96 square kilometres (66.01 sq mi).

History
[edit]In 1988, Shebu Township was built. In May 1995, Shebu Town was built.
Economy
[edit]The region abounds with iron, limestone and gold. Tea is important to the economy.

[edit]There are 22 primary schools, five Middle schools and one high school located with the town,

[edit]Huaguxi is the most influence local theater.
