Nannophya paulsoni is a species of dragonfly of the family Libellulidae,[3][4] commonly known as the scarlet pygmyfly.[5] It is a small dragonfly with red markings[5] found in northern Australia.[6]

Historically, Nannophya paulsoni had been recorded as Nannophya pygmaea in Australia.[5]
