Balitang Southern Tagalog is a Philippine television news broadcasting show broadcast by GMA Southern Tagalog. Originally and currently anchored by former TV Patrol Palawan anchor and CNN Philippines reporter Ivy Kris Saunar-Gasang and Joined by Ace Medrano, it premiered on February 14, 2022.[1]

After launching first-ever Bicol newscast last year (February 1, 2021) of groundbreaking GMA Bicol's Balitang Bicolandia Anchored by Jessie Cruzat and Joined by Kate Delovieres, this year in (February 14, 2022) the unified Southern Tagalog newscast of Balitang Southern Tagalog both part inside all over South Luzon.
GMA Regional TV's remarkable as Flagship Awarded Afternoon Provincial Newscasts are Balitang Amianan in (North Central Luzon) from GMA Dagupan and GMA Ilocos, Balitang Southern Tagalog in (Southern Tagalog) from GMA Batangas, Balitang Bisdak in (Central and Eastern Visayas) from GMA Cebu, One Western Visayas in (Western Visayas) from GMA Bacolod and GMA Iloilo, One Mindanao in (Southern, South Central, Western and North Central Mindanao) from GMA Davao, GMA Northern Mindanao, GMA Zamboanga and GMA General Santos and the last year (February 1, 2021) Balitang Bicolandia in the (Bicol) from GMA Bicol.
Overview
The newscast covers the most significant news and features in Calabarzon and Mimaropa through the network's news teams from Batangas City and news stringers across the region. It also marks the debut of GMA Southern Tagalog as an originating station.
Balitang Southern Tagalog airs from Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM on GMA TV-12 Batangas and GMA TV 13 Occidental Mindoro, Simulcast Via TV-44 Jalajal Rizal, and GMA TV 7 Romblon, with international broadcasts through GMA News TV.
