Tsukuno Station (津久野駅, Tsukuno-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in Nishi-ku, Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).

Tsukuno Station is served by the Hanwa Line, and is located 13.7 kilometers from the northern terminus of the line at Tennōji.

History

Tsukuno Station opened on 1 September 1960.

Station numbering was introduced in March 2018 with Tsukuno being assigned station number JR-R32.[1][2]

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 2223 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[3]

History

Tsukuno Station opened on 1 September 1960. With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.
