Nakhlestan Rural District (Persian: دهستان نخلستان)[3] is in the Central District of Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Yazd province) was 3,122 in 873 households.[4] There were 3,446 inhabitants in 1,021 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,081 in 1,001 households, by which time the county had been transferred from Yazd to South Khorasan province. The largest of its 21 villages was Korit, with 1,657 people.[2]
