Bamrud (Persian: بمرود, also Romanized as Bamrūd and Bemrood; also known as Banamrūd)[3] is a village in Zirkuh Rural District of the Central District of Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 961 in 198 households, when it was in the former Zirkuh District of Qaen County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 922 people in 228 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,195 people in 314 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and Zirkuh County established with three new districts. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
