Fanuj Rural District (Persian: دهستان فنوج) is in the Central District of Fanuj County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Fanuj.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Fanuj District of Nik Shahr County) was 8,938 in 2,056 households.[4] There were 11,361 inhabitants in 2,680 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 11,797 in 3,019 households. The largest of its 114 villages was Ramak, with 1,372 people, by which time the district had separated from the county to establish Fanuj County.[2]
