Mahru Rural District (Template:Lang-fa) is in Zaz va Mahru District of Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Marg Sar.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,023 in 344 households.[3] There were 2,057 inhabitants in 378 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,814 in 415 households. The largest of its 53 villages was Marg Sar, with 379 people.[2]
