Malavi Rural District (Persian: دهستان ملاوی) is in the Central District of Pol-e Dokhtar County, Lorestan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,923 in 2,010 households.[3] There were 8,692 inhabitants in 2,301 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,489 in 2,543 households. The largest of its 31 villages was Murani, with 1,770 people.[2]
