The Central District of Aghajari County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان آغاجاری) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Aghajari.
At the National Census in 2006, its population (as the former Aghajari District of Behbahan County) was 13,155 in 2,944 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 12,656 people in 3,401 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 11,919 inhabitants in 3,479 households, by which time the district had separated from the county in the establishment of the new Aghajari County.[2]
