The Central District of Shadegan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شادگان) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shadegan.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 138,226 in 23,813 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 127,222 people in 28,759 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 98,986 inhabitants in 25,951 households.[2]
