Darkhoveyn District (Persian: بخش دارخوین) is in Shadegan County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Darkhoveyn.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Darkhoveyn Rural District of the Central District) was 13,182 in 2,200 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 14,098 people in 3,170 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 14,754 inhabitants in 3,705 households, by which time the rural district had separated from the district in the establishment of the new Darkhoveyn District.[2]
