Career
He rode in the men's team pursuit event at the 2018 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.[4] He qualified to represent Canada at the 2020 Summer Olympics.[5][6]
Gee is well known for his performance in the 2023 Giro d'Italia, which was his first Grand Tour as well as in his first season on the UCI World Tour. Throughout the race, he placed second on four stages and fourth on two others, while having no victories.[7] He also finished second overall in the points classification, the intermediate sprints classification and the mountains classification.[8] He was also awarded the Combativity award on stages 10, 14 and 19, all of which he placed second on, as well as the overall most combative rider award.
