iPhone SE is a series of lower-cost smartphones in the iPhone line, which is manufactured, marketed and designed by Apple Inc. The 1st-generation model was announced on March 21st, 2016, and released on March 31st, 2016, (with pre-orders beginning on March 24th) and adopted the body, design and four-inch display of the 2013 iPhone 5s, while containing the newer Apple A9 system on a chip (SoC) introduced with the iPhone 6s the previous year, a 12-megapixel camera, and other minor changes[2]. Another version with more storage options released March 24th of the following year.
