Abolfares Rural District (Template:Lang-fa) is in Abolfares District of Ramhormoz County, Khuzestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Bavaj.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 6,336 in 1,265 households.[4] There were 6,177 inhabitants in 1,403 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,503 in 689 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Abolfares District.[3] The largest of its 19 villages was Hajjiabad, with 495 people.[2]
