Arthur Simeon is a stand-up comedian based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was born in Kampala, Uganda on November 14, 1984. He attended the prestigious Namilyango College between 1996-2001. He moved to Canada as a teenager where he first tried his hand at stand-up comedy. In June 2007, he headlined the Nubian Disciples of Pryor comedy showcase at Yuk Yuk's in Toronto. In 2009, he made his debut appearance at Just for Laughs as part of the Homegrown Comedy Competition. In February 2010, he was featured as the cover story of NOW in Toronto. He has appeared at the Halifax Comedy Festival for CBC Television, as well as the Winnipeg and Cottage Country Comedy festivals. He is a fan favorite on the CBC Radio hit show The Debaters and in the summer of 2011, he was invited back to Just for Laughs to appear on the HBO Canada TV show Funny as Hell. Arthur Simeon's debut comedy album Born and Raised was released in 2014 to rave reviews.
