Kleitor is a village and an ancient city in Achaea, Greece.[2] It is part of the municipality Kalavryta.
Ancient Kleitor was the first city in Arkadia to produce coins. They produced coins from 500 to 460 B.C.[citation needed] It is located at the point where the Kleitor River joins the Karnesi. A relief of the soldier-historian Polybios was found at Kleitor.
